Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Albania
Meet and assisted by our representative in arrival. Transfer to Tirana, visit E’them Bey mosque build in 1789 and the Watch Tower build in 1830.Along the main boulevard walk tour,visit the City hall and the Government buildings, the Art’s gallery and the University. In the ex- communist quarter you can have a coffee into the most panoramic bar which is constructed on a rotator platform of the 15’Th floor into a new building called the “Sky Tower”. Dinner and Overnight in Hotel 4*, Tirana.
Day 2. Tirana - Pogradec-Korca
After breakfast proceed to Pogradec in a panoramic tour and visit of the city, which is one of the most charming tourist resorts in Albania because of it’s position close to Ohrid Lake which is distinguished itself for clear water and mountain views, and the alcoran fish, unique specific of this lake in the world. Later we will proceed to Korca, the serenade city. Sightseeing city tour, visit at the museum of Medieval Art (National Museum).Accommodation and Dinner in Grand Hotel +*3 overnight in Korca.
Day 3. Korca-Gjirokastra
After the breakfast our tour will progress to Permet city. Along the way, you will enjoy the wonderful views of nature.We will proceed along the Vjosa river and enjoy the charming canyons of Kelcyra outfall. The way pass through Tepelena city, the native land of Ali Pasha Tepelena, where is found the medieval castle with the same name. In the evening arrival to the stony city of Gjirokastra , UNESCO world heritage. Accommodation in Hotel Dinner and overnight in Gjirokastra.
Day 4. Gjirokastra –Butrint- Saranda
After the breakfast Visit at the fortress, built in 4’Th century, the National museum of Weapons, the church in the old Bazaar, the characteristic shops of Gjirokastra. Stop, to visit the Mesopotamian Monastery, Saint Nicolas church which belongs to Byzantine period, and the old residual of the ancient city of Foinika. Proceed to the ancient city of Butrint UNESCO World heritage, visit to the Acropolis which belongs to the VIII ’th century BC, the Asclepius Temple (the healing god ) of IV’ th century BC, the Gate of the Lake of IV century BC, the Roman theatre of III century BC, Agoraja the main trading center of the city, the gymnasium, a holy pagan place. Continue to Saranda city. Accommodation in Hotel 4* Dinner and overnight in Saranda.
Day 5. Saranda - Vlora
After breakfast, City tour in Saranda ( incl visit in th synagogue) Drive up to Albanian Riviera. En route making a short visit to the bay of Porto Palermo where the castle of Ali Pasha is situated.Stop at a panoramic restaurant near the sea shore where you can taste lunch with sea products according the traditional Albanian cooks. In the afternoon arrival in Vlora, a historical and costal city. Accommodation in hotel 3 *.Dinner and overnights in Vlora.
Day 6. Vlora -Berat-Durres
After breakfast proceed to Berat, named the “city of one thousand windows”, with a castle rising predominantly over the city. Lunch at a restaurant at the edge of Osum River. After lunch continue to Durres where it will be presented the history of this ancient city. Visit to the fortress build in the IV-V century BC with 120 hectares and 44 km circumference of surface, Roman amphitheatre with a capacity of 20.000 spectators and the Venetian Tower. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel 4*.
Day 7 Departure from Albania.
After breakfast at the hotel, free time at leisure until departure. Transfer for the departure from Albania.
